Talalay latex is hypoallergenic, breathable, odor-free, eco-friendly, and naturally resistant to mold, mildew, bacteria, and dust mites.
BCI (Better Cotton Initiative) Certified Organic Cotton Sleep Surface (Used in all models). BCI, sometimes referred to as simply Better Cotton, is a global organic certification organization.
BCI approved cotton is grown without the use of dangerous chemical fertilizers or pesticides. Organic cotton fabric is also breathable, which helps you sleep cool and comfortable.
Organic New Zealand Wool - (Used in all models) Breathable, natural wool offers comfort while wicking away moisture and controlling humidity. This aids in regulating body temperature.
Natural wool is antimicrobial, odor and allergen free. It's also a natural fire barrier. No chemical fire retardants are used in Hemingway beds.
Hand Tufting is a labor intensiveness process that requires skilled craftsmen to complete. This type of workmanship is typically only found in high end, expensive luxury bedding.
Hand Tufting limits shifting or bunching of material which decreases body impressions and sagging. No adhesives means less chemical usage in your mattress.
